What you’ll learn
Vehicles and drivers greatly benefit from information beyond the sensor horizon for a safer and more comfortable ride. The ADASIS training provides an in-depth introduction to the concept of an electronic horizon and its use in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving.
Learn how electronic horizon data is distributed to in-vehicle ECUs. You will understand the ADASIS v2 protocol, learn about the supported messages, and how the protocol allows to send electronic horizon data via the CAN bus to ADAS applications.
Furthermore, in-depth information is provided about the ADASIS v3 protocol, the standard to support high-definition maps and automated driving solutions. You will get a detailed understanding of ADASIS v3, of supported messages, and of how the data is transmitted via the Ethernet bus.
Why should you take this course?
- Understand the concept of an electronic horizon to enhance comfort functions, ADAS, and automated driving functions
